Hazards Commission Toka Tū Ake on 18 February 2025. You requested the following: 
 
May I request you to kindly share the Funding and financing considerations made 
in creating the statement including any work performed by external consultants 
 
We extended the time frame for responding as consultations were required in order to 
make a decision on your request. 
 
We have interpreted your request to be the underlying actuarial analysis provided by 
the Natural Hazards Commission to support the development of the Funding and Risk 
Management Statement. We confirm that no external consultants were used in the 
development of the report. Therefore, your request is refused under section 18(e) of 
the OIA – the document alleged to contain the information requested does not exist or 
cannot be found.
