Welcome from Ministerial Services’ VIP Transport
Ministerial Services, part of the Department of Internal Affairs, is responsible
for providing a range of services to the Executive arm of Government. As an
entitled user, you are eligible for the private use of a Ministerial self-drive
vehicle.
These vehicles are Crown-owned and administered by Ministerial Services
through VIP Transport. This catalogue outlines the vehicles available for
selection and the selection process.
The selection process
Ministerial Services offers you three fully electric vehicles to choose from. The
vehicles available for selection meet VIP Transport’s criteria on CO2 emissions
and whole-of-life costs and are listed within the All of Government (AoG)
vehicle catalogue.
Ordering your vehicle
Please read through the available options. VIP Transport’s team are always
available to answer any questions you may have. Once you have identified
your preference please let VIP Transpo rt or your office know, VIP Transport will
arrange the purchase of the vehicle and provide an estimated time for delivery.
While waiting for the arrival of your Ministerial self-drive, VIP Transport will
under the Official
arrange for a BEV charging station to be installed at your residential address.
On delivery of the Ministerial self-drive a member of VIP Transport will take you
through a thorough handover of your vehicle and explain operational
requirements.
Please note that Ministerial Self-drives are ordered in neutral colours of either
silver or grey. If neither of these colours are available at the time of order, an
alternate neutral colour will be considered.
