Response
The Executive Director National Projects role is a temporary role that was created to drive a focus
on national projects that were defined and allocated by the interim Chief Executive in accordance
with Health NZ priorities. The position was not advertised as it is a temporary role and filled
through a secondment.
An existing staff member has been seconded into the role on their existing terms and conditions,
as such there is no specific salary band/range for this role or job description.
Therefore, I am refusing this part of your request under section 18(e) of the Act as the information
requested does not exist.
The only documents in scope of the last part of your request is their letter of offer which is withheld
in full under section 9(2)(a) of the OIA to protect the privacy of the individual. I have considered
the public interest considerations and am of the view that these do not outweigh the need to
withhold this information.
