Thank you for your email of 27 November 2024 requesting the following under the Of icial 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
Please provide copies of reports, memos, correspondence or minutes of meetings 
from  
- Ministry for the Environment correspondence to/from Central Government regarding 
Tarras / Central Otago Airport project from 1 Jan 2024 to the present,  
- Ministry for the Environment correspondence to/from Christchurch airport or any 
consultants working for them regarding Tarras / Central Otago Airport project from 1 
Jan 2024 to the present, and  
- Ministry for the Environment internal reports or communications or rulings etc about 
the Tarras / Central Otago Airport project since Oct 2024  
No information in scope of your request is held. Therefore, the Ministry for the Environment 
(the Ministry) is refusing your request in full under section 18(g)(i) of the Act, as the 
information requested is not held by the Ministry, and we have no grounds to believe it is 
held by any other agency. 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Of ice of the Ombudsman of 
my decision relating to this request, in accordance with section 28(3) of the Act. The relevant 
details can be found on their website at: www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.
