Thank you for your Official Information Act request, received as a transfer from the Office of Hon 
Mat Doocey on 11 November 2024. You requested information about how WorkSafe mitigates 
occupational risks in emergency dispatch centers. 
Under section 15A of the Official Information Act, we have decided to extend the time limit for 
making a decision on your request by an additional 20 working days. This extension will also apply 
to the time limit for transferring your request, should this become relevant. A decision on your 
request will now be due by 31 January 2025.  
The extension is required because consultations are required before a decision can be made on your 
request.  
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review this decision, and further 
information is available at www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.
