Official information request for EEEN202, EEEN203 and NWEN241 Test
Papers
I refer to your request for information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act)
dated 31 October 2024:
“Please provide all test papers for the course EEEN202, EEEN203 and
NWEN241 for the years 2019 to 2024.”
Information regarding NWEN241 assessments are publicly available at in the School of
Engineering and Computer Science exam archive at
https://ecs.wgtn.ac.nz/Main/ExamArchiveNWEN241. Therefore this aspect of your
request is refused in accordance with s18(d) of the Act as the information is already
publicly available.
Information regarding EEEN202 tests for 2021-2024 and EEEN2023 tests for 2019-2024
(except tests 1-3 in 2022 and 2023) is contained in the attached documents.
Tests 1-3 for EEEN203 in 2022 and 2023 were undertaken in a dynamic environment
using randomly chosen questions that were generated for each individual student. We
have included an example test for these years but all versions of the tests 1-3 for 2022 and
2023 cannot be made available without substantial research or collation. Therefore this
aspect of your request is refused in accordance with s18(f) of the Act.
Test papers for EEEN202 for 2019 and 2020 are held on an old University system that
academic staff do not have direct access to. A manual search through this database by our
Digital Solutions team would be required in order to identify the relevant information
which is estimated to take up to eight hours. Given the amount of resource required to
process your request, we have decided to charge for making the requested information
available.
We estimate that the maximum charge will $608. Any unused component of the
maximum charge will be refunded to you.
Before we proceed further with your request, please confirm your agreement to the
charge and pay the full amount. The payment can be deposited into the following account
