Thank you for your email received on 29 October 2024, requesting the fol owing information from 
Whitireia and WelTec ǀ Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skil s and Technology (Whitireia and 
WelTec): 
Please provide financial reports related to Whitirea and Weltec's health courses, including 
nursing and paramedicine. Provide information that tracks budget management and financial 
performance of these programs over the past few years. Provide information on the efficiency of 
the courses, the cost of delivering them and information on what the amount of overheads are 
and how they are apportioned. 
For clarity, please provide annual income for each of the health streams, and the source of this 
income. 
This letter provides a formal decision on your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA).

The table below provides a summary of financial information for teaching revenue and expenditure, 
for 2023 and 2024, for the following programmes delivered by the Whitireia and WelTec School of 
Health and Wellbeing:

•  Vet Nursing 
Details provided for 2024 include the six months to 30 June 2024. As the table reflects the direct 
teaching revenue and expenditure incurred by Whitireia and WelTec, it therefore excludes: 
•  costs associated with the wider academic leadership and development
