Thank you for your email of 12 November 2024, requesting information from Whitireia and WelTec ǀ 
Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skil s and Technology (Whitireia and WelTec).  
I am writing to let you know that we are extending the timeframe for making a decision on your 
request by 15 working days. Allowing for the summer holiday period (25 December – 15 January) you 
can expect a decision on your request by 22 January 2025. 
This extension is being made under section 15A(1)(b) of the Official Information Act (OIA). 
Consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a proper response cannot 
reasonably be made within the original time limit. Please be assured we will provide a decision prior 
to this new date and do our best to respond this side of Christmas, if at all possible.
