Official Information Act request for records of meetings with the Policy Advisory 
Group in September 2024 
 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request received by the 
Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) on 18 October 2024. You requested: 
 
“I  request  records  of  meetings  between  members  of  the  Policy  Advisory  Group 
and Office of the Prime Minister staff that took place in September 2024.” 
 
No records of meetings between officials  in DPMC’s Policy Advisory Group  and staff  in the 
Prime  Minister’s  office  have  been  created  or  retained.  Accordingly,  I  am  refusing  your 
request  for  meeting  records  under  section  18(e)  of  the  Act  on  the  basis  no  such  records 
exist. 
 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under 
section 28(3) of the Act. 
 
We do not intend to publish this response on the Department of the Prime Minister and 
Cabinet’s website.
