Request  for Information  under  the  Local Government  Official  Information  and 
Meetings Act 1987 (the Act) (the LGOIMA) 
 
Thank you for your email of 14 October 2024 requesting the following information: 
 
I would like to request under the OIA how much money KCDC gave the 
Mahara  gallery  during  the  2023-2024  financial  year  and  how  much  they 
have given or budgeted to give this financial year being 2024-2025. 
 
During  the  2023-24  financial  year,  Council  supported  Toi  Mahara  with  an 
operational  grant  of  $639,591.  In  the  2024-25  year,  $660,000  is  forecast. 
Figures exclude GST.
