Thank you for your email on 7 October 2024, asking The Ministry of Health for the following under
the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):
Could you please advise if St John Ambulance Service has sought to be fully funded
recently and before the contract review of 2026.
Your request was then transferred to Health New Zealand on 9 October 2024.
Response
Hato Hone St John has requested that it be 100% operationally funded, including infrastructure,
but it would like to continue to fundraise for vehicles and specialized equipment.
