Our Ref: OIA 2024-0301
I refer to your official information request received on 4 October 2024 where you have asked:
“Please provide copies of advice given to MoE, Minister for education, treasury and DPMC
relating to machinery of government options for department of school building. Including
advice relating to functional CE and departmental agency.”
The Official Information Act 1982 requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no
later than 20 working days after the day that we received your request. Unfortunately, it wil not
be possible to meet that time limit, and we are, therefore, writing to notify you of an extension of
the time to make our decision, to 18 November 2024.
We wil keep you updated on the progress of our response to your request.
This extension is necessary because consultations needed to make a decision on your request
are such that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.
