following under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act):  
“I am requesting a copy of a document produced by the Health Infrastructure Unit entitled 
'Critical Care Infrastructure National Service Plan For Aotearoa New Zealand 2021-2035'. 
The final version of this document was approved for publication by the steering group in 
June 2022, assigned an ISBN number (978-1-99-117123-8), and was distributed as 
'Released March 2023'. However, it cannot be found anywhere online, or through the Te 
Whatu Ora website. 
Can you please publish the complete PDF (either here or on the Te Whatu Ora website) so 
that it is available in the public domain and can be used to inform national planning of 
critical care services. I am able to supply the 'published' version of the document if it cannot 
be found internally.” 
Response 
Attached in Appendix 1 is a copy of the Critical Care Infrastructure National Service Plan For 
Aotearoa New Zealand 2021-2035. This copy was received by Health NZ by email on 
1 February  2024.
