Thank you for your request of 30 September 2024 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and
Employment (MBIE) requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following
information:
I noted Financial Advisers Disciplinary Committee had a website which publish the
decisions.

May I kindly ask if all decisions are published? The most recent one is [2020] FADC 010,
which is 3 years ago. If not, may I kindly ask you to actively publish them to your website
to ensure public transparency. Also, to give a push, I would also like to request all the
decision (legally allow for publishing) made by the Committee from today to 30 March
2021.
After reviewing your request I can confirm that the information you have requested is not held by MBIE,
however, during consultations we have ascertained that the information is held by the Financial Advisers
Disciplinary Committee (FADC). As FADC are not subject to the Act we are unable to officially transfer the
request to them to respond. Following consultations with FADC, I recommend that you contact them
directly with your query and they will be able to provide you with a response directly.
MBIE is therefore refusing your request under section 18(g) of the Act, that the information requested is
not held by the department or venture or Minister of the Crown or organisation and the person dealing
with the request has no grounds for believing that the information is either—

held by another department (for itself and for a departmental agency hosted by it or an
interdepartmental executive board serviced by it) or interdepartmental venture or Minister
of the Crown or organisation, or by a local authority; or
