Thank you for your email of 26 November 2024 to Te Kaunihera o Pōneke | Wellington City Council 
(the Council) requesting information regarding the mayoral vehicle. Your request has been considered 
under the Local Government Of icial Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA). Please find my 
response below.  
 
1.  Confirmation of the make, model and year of the Mayoral car. 
 
The mayoral office vehicle is a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Ev/Fd Hatchback. 
 
2.  Date of purchase and price. 
 
The vehicle was purchased on the 29th of November 2019 for $47,982.22. 
 
3.  Confirmation of any new car warranty and length of time the car is covered. 
 
The original warranty was valid for 3 years or 100,000km, which ever came first. 
 
4.  A breakdown of all repairs and costs associated with the car since January 2023 to date.
