Thank you for your request of 25 September 2024, asking for the following information under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act):
Could you provide ACC motorcycle revenue for the years 2008 and 2010
ACC’s finance team only receives gross totals for licence fee levies. It also receives data for Motorcycle
Safety Levy revenues. These total licence levies include the Motor Vehicle and Motorcycle Licence Levy. However, based on data
provided from ACC’s actuaries, our finance team has estimated the total Motorcycle Licence Levy revenue.
Please note that variable rates by class came into effect in 2011. Therefore, data by class is unable to be
provided. The data includes both petrol and non-petrol vehicles.
