Thank you for email dated 12 September 2024, in which you made the following Official 
Information Act 1982 request (OIA):  
“The NZ First Coalition Agreement of 2023 states: 
Conduct a comprehensive review of all legislation (except when it is related to, or 
substantive to, existing full and final Treaty settlements) that includes 'The Principles 
of the Treaty of Waitangi" and replace all such references with specific words relating 
to the relevance and application of the Treaty, or repeal the references. 
Please provide detail on all the legislation that has been amended in line with this 
review.”  
Your request has been transferred to the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) for response, as it is more 
closely connected with the functions of the MoJ (section 14(b)(ii) of the OIA refers). In these 
circumstances, we are required by section 14 of the Official Information Act to transfer your 
request. 
The Ministry of Justice has the usual time limits from receipt of this transfer to make a 
decision on your request.
