An open search process following Public Service Commission guidelines was used to seek

Ethnic Communities, Te Puni Kōkiri, Ministry for Pacific Peoples and the Ministry for
Disabled People); and
• advertising on the Department of Internal Affairs’ website, job.govt.nz, Māori and
Pacific Jobs, TradeMe, and Seek.
How many applications did you receive from the public?
The Department has received 21 applications for the Archives Council.
How many you have received from other nominating agencies such as TPK or Ministry of
women etc for your role?
One of the 21 applicants was a nominee of the Ministry of Ethnic Communities. No other
applicants were nominated by nominating agencies.
