I refer to the Official Information Act (the Act) request dated 6 August 2024 for information relating to LLB
acceptance and grades. You have specifical y requested:

How many students were accepted into LLB Part II, not under any other pathway in Semester One
2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024?
We interpreted this question to mean what UC would cal the standard (i.e. non-discretionary)
pathway, which is entry to LAWS 200s (UC does not use the “Part II” nomenclature) based simply on
performance in the LAWS 100s courses.
2020: 212
2021: 215
2022: 225
2023: 222
2024: 265

What was the grade cutoff for LAWS101 and LAWS110 for entry into LLB Part II for 2020, 2021,
2022, and 2024
Standard pathway students had to achieve a B- in both LAWS101 and LAWS110 for entry to LAWS
200s in al years 2020-2024 inclusive.

What was the average grade obtained in semester 1 2024 for LAWS110.
70.53% (B grade).
