Thank you for your request to Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities, dated 23 July 2024, under the
Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):
We believe a heritage report was completed (possibly by Russell Murray) around 2012 that
included a maintenance assessment of the Gordon Wilson Flats structure.
We also believe Beca was commissioned to complete a structural assessment of the Gordon
Wilson Flats around this time.
Could we please see these reports and any other structural and maintenance reports
completed on the Gordon Wilson Flats completed between 2000 up to the time when the
building was divested.
A heritage report was completed in May 2015. The following three documents are provided as
Attachment 1:

We do not hold a record of Beca completing a structural assessment of the Gordon Wilson Flats
around 2012. Therefore, this part of your request is refused under section 18(e) of the Act as the
document requested does not exist or cannot be found.
We have interpreted the third part of your request as being for substantial structural and maintenance
reports. The following four documents are provided as Attachment 2:
