INFORMATION REQUEST On 21 July 2024 you asked for copies of LGOIMA requests. Here is our response to your
questions:
I wish to have a downloadable format of all LGOIMA requests made to the
Tauranga City Council for the past 5 years please.
I understand that all responses are in the public domain and it is stated on the
webpage linked below, that "Some which may be of interest to the wider public
are published below."
I would like access to all of the LGOIMA requests within the last 5 years in a
digital format please.

requests/lgoima-responses
Across the last five financial years we received 1639 LGOIMA requests. To provide
you with every request from the past five years would require extensive time to
collate, review and redact personal information. At ten minutes per request, we
estimate this would take more than 200 hours. As such, we decline to provide you
with copies of all requests from the last five years. If you are looking for specific
requests or types of requests, please refine your request.
We proactively publish responses on our website that are of wider public interest.
These include requests over the past five years. In the 2023/2024 financial year we
published 164 responses. The requests are detailed in these response letters and
can be downloaded from the link you included in your request.
This request and the response have been considered under the LGOIMA1. We decline your
request for all LGOIMA requests for the past five years under section 17(f)
that the
information requested cannot be made available without substantial collation or research.
