Official Information Act request relating to Apple visit 
 
Thank  you  for  your  request  made  under  the  Official  Information  Act  1982  (the  Act), 
received on 16 July 2024. You requested: 
 
1- All documents (including, but not limited to: itineraries, communications e.g 
emails, texts) relating to the visit of Apple Inc. 
2- All travel (specifically airfare) documents (including, but not limited to: 
receipts, itineraries, communications e.g emails, texts). 
3- List of all passengers and booking classes for flights. 
 
For ease of reference, I have numbered your request.  
 
I believe that part of question 2 ‘all travel (specifically airfare) documents (including, but 
not limited to: receipts)’ and the entirety of question 3 is more closely connected to the 
functions of the Department of Internal Affairs. Accordingly, I have decided to transfer 
these parts of your request to the Department of Internal Affairs under section 14(b)(ii) 
of the Act. The other parts of your request have not been transferred, and I will respond 
in due course. 
 
The Department of Internal Affairs has the usual time limits under the Act from receipt of 
this transfer to make a decision on your request.
