Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 2 July 2024. You 
requested: 
I am contacting you to fol ow up on un-official reports of a police shooing 
somewhere in Northland on 25/6/24 at around 12:45pm. This was heard over live 
COMMS radio in Northland and heard on live COMMS Radio by other FENZ staff 
in the region.  Please provide an update as wel  as an incident report of what had 
occurred on 25/6/24. 
I can confirm that this is an ongoing investigation and therefore all information in relation 
to your request is withheld pursuant to s.6(c) OIA where the making available of that 
information would be likely to prejudice the maintenance of the law, including the 
prevention, investigation, and detection of offences, and the right to a fair trial.
