I am writing to request access to all reports, correspondence, and documents
pertaining to Honeywell - this includes information relating to Honeywell’s directors,
shareholders, representatives, and subsidiaries. This request also includes any
Ministerial reports.
The time frame for this request is from 1 January 2018 onwards.
To facilitate the review and analysis of the provided information, I kindly request that
the information be accompanied by a summary table. The table should clearly
identify each document and include the following details for each entry:
Date: The date the document was created
Document Name: The title or name of the document Type of Document: The type of
document (e.g. report, email, letter, etc)
Summary: A brief summary of the document's content

Also a specific link to the document/s in question if the information is publicly
available (this is to avoid links to a page on your website where everything is on it).

Your request has been considered under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA).

We are unaware of information related to Corrections being provided to Honeywell’s board
or shareholders. Such information would not have been prepared by Corrections.
In relation to your request for
ministerial reports, we have located no briefings to the
current or previous Minister of Corrections in scope of your request. Therefore, this part of
your request is refused under section 18(e) of the OIA, as the documents alleged to contain
the information requested do not exist or, despite reasonable efforts to locate them, cannot
be found.
Correspondence, reports and documents relating to Honeywell are not held in a central
manner and would require Corrections to initiate a significant project to extract, analyse
and present this information to you. Therefore, the remainder of your request is refused
under section 18(f) of the OIA, as the information cannot be made available without
substantial collation or research.
In accordance with sections 18A and 18B of the OIA, we have considered whether fixing a
charge, extending the time limit or asking you to refine or amend your request would
enable us to provide a response. However, given the scale of the request, we do not
consider this would be an appropriate use of our publicly funded resources.
Please note that this response may be published on Corrections’ website. Typically,
responses are published quarterly or as otherwise determined. Your personal information
including name and contact details will be removed for publication.
I hope this information is helpful. I encourage you to raise any concerns about this response
with Corrections. Alternatively, you are advised of your right to raise any concerns with the
Office of the Ombudsman. Contact details are: Office of the Ombudsman, PO Box 10152,
Wellington 6143.
