I am writing to advise you that MBIE will provide a response, but needs to extend the time available to
answer your request. This extension is being made in line with sections 15A(1)(a) and 15A(1)(b) of the Act,
due to the need to search through a large quantity of information, and because meeting the original time
limit would unreasonably interfere with the operations of the parts of MBIE involved in providing a
response. It is also due to the consultations required to provide a response.
MBIE’s response wil be sent to you no later than
15 August 2024, although we wil endeavour to provide
our response before this date.
