Official Information Act request dated 1 July 2024 
 
We refer to your email dated  1 July  2024  requesting information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the  Act).  The answers to your specific questions are set out 
below.  
 
Request: Please provide the Uber trip receipts for each attendee (3 Individuals) of the 
LA screenings that came to $2,294.20 NZD. 
 
This should include the cost, pick up and drop off location and who made the trip. 
 
Response: The attached spreadsheet sets out the costs, pick up and drop off location 
of each Uber trip. Names have been withheld based on section 9(2)(a) of the Act; to 
protect the privacy of relevant individuals.  
 
If, after consideration of this information, you consider you also require the receipt for 
each transaction please let us know. Receipts wil  be provided to you on payment of 
our reasonable charges in accordance with section 15 of the Act. The charge for 
provision of all Uber  receipts and invoices in anonymised format is likely to be 
approximately $722. This has been calculated on an hourly rate of $76 per the Charging 
Guidelines, al owing sufficient time to retrieve each document, redact it, and second 
line review it to ensure compliance with the Privacy Act.  
 
Please note that section 28 of the Act sets out the circumstances in which you may 
make a complaint to the Ombudsman in order to seek an investigation and review of 
this decision.
