I refer to your official information request received on 24 June 2024 where you asked:
“Could I please have any official information about the Copperfield cafe, Pickwits, Bellamy's
and any other hospitality business that operates in the parliament precinct
I would like included:
- Who owns and operates each business
- A copy of the menu for al businesses
- The rent, fees, or other income that the government receives from the Beehive hospitality
businesses
- The total cost on government/the Beehive hospitality businesses”
Our response
The information you have requested is not held by Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission
(the Commission). We are therefore refusing your request under section 18(e) of the Official
Information Act 1982 (OIA) on the grounds the information is not held by the Commission.
As required under section 14 of the OIA, if the Commission does not hold the information, but we
believe the information is held by another agency, we are required to transfer your request.
