Official Information Act request relating to correspondence between DPMC and 
various parties 
 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request received on 9 June 2024. 
You requested: 
 
a. communications (between the dates 15/12/2022 to 09/06/2024) between DPMC 
and actors within He Whenua Taurikura, including, but not limited to, the Board 
(Bernie O'Donnell, Dave Moskovitz, Tracey McIntosh, Vanisha Dhiru and Gul 
Kashkari), and the Secretary (Ruth Constantine);  
 
b. communications (between the dates 15/12/2022 to 09/06/2024) between DPMC 
and Grant Thornton New Zealand Limited's representatives; 
 
c. communications (between the dates 15/12/2022 to 09/06/2024) between DPMC 
and Joanna Kidman, Paul Spoonley, and Avery Smith; and 
 
d. communications (between the dates 15/12/2022 to 09/06/2024) between DPMC 
and any other organisations or government entities that are involved in He Whenua 
Taurikura as those communications relates to He Whenua Taurikura. ” 
 
I  have  decided  to  extend  the  time  limits  for  deciding  on  your  request  by  an  additional  20 
working days under section 15A of the Act to enable the consultations necessary to make a 
decision on your request. Consequently, the extended due date for your response will be 5 
August 2024. 
 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under section 
28(3) of the Act.
