I am responding to your email of 4 June 2024 requesting the fol owing under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
“A complete list of government agencies that hold contracts with Datacom for 
telecommunication services (phone, email, cloud services, etc).” 
On 13 June 2024, the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) advised you that 
the request had been transferred to Te Tari Taiwhenua | the Department of Internal Affairs. 
On 17 June 2024, we advised you that the due date was 12 July 2024. 
As noted by EECA, we can only provide a list of agencies consuming Datacom services via 
Common Capabilities/Framework Agreements, or via the Marketplace. We do not hold 
information regarding agencies independently contracting with Datacom. For the 2023/24 
financial year, we are aware of the following agencies consuming telecommunication 
services with Datacom: 
•  Christchurch City Council; 
•  Department of Internal Affairs; 
•  Earthquake Commission; 
•  Far North District Council; 
•  Inland Revenue Department; 
•  Kaipara District Council; 
•  Kiwibank Limited; 
•  Land Information New Zealand; 
•  New Zealand Lotteries Commission; 
•  Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment; 
•  Ministry of Justice; 
•  Ministry for Primary Industries; and 
•  Whakarongorau (formerly Homecare Medical).
