Re: Official Information Request: List of agencies with Datacom telecommunications
contracts
I refer to your official information request dated Tuesday 04 June for a
complete list of government agencies
that hold contracts with Datacom for telecommunication services (phone, email, cloud services, etc.).
We have transferred your request to the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA). The information to which
your request relates is not held by us but is believed to be more closely connected with the functions of the
Department of Internal Affairs. In these circumstances, we are required by section 14 of the Official
Information Act to transfer your request.
Please note that the DIA can only provide a list of agencies that are consuming Datacom services via one of
their Common Capabilities/Framework Agreements, or via their online ‘Marketplace’. This list wouldn’t
include agencies independently contracted with Datacom. For information regarding agencies that are
independently contracted with Datacom, these agencies would need to be contacted individual y.
