On behalf of New Zealand’s Hi-Tech industry, I would like to extend an invitation for you to
attend the
29th NZ Hi-Tech Awards Gala Dinner being held on Friday the 24rd May 2024 with
VIP pre-dinner drinks at 5.30pm at Spark Arena in Auckland, and to address the group and
award one of the categories.

The annual Hi-Tech Awards www.hitech.org.nz is considered the “Oscars” of the industry and
celebrates the achievements of New Zealand’s technology sector including: software,
electronics, IT services, mobile, telecommunications and other creative technologies.
The NZ technology industry is one of our biggest exporter earners and our fastest growing

sector, employing more than 62,000 people. Again, we have seen record growth in this sector
with $13.2b in exports in 2023 - securing tech as NZ’s second-largest “export” earner for the
third consecutive year.

The Gala Dinner is considered to be the premier industry event with the last Gala attracting over
1,100 attendees – leaders, workers, investors and key supporters of the sector.
