We refer to your email  dated  25  May  2024  (your  Request)  requesting  information 
under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). TVNZ’s response is set out below. 
Request: We are seeking information regarding the online complaint and campaign 
about the Taihape police being corrupt that we just read online. It involves Harry 
Hughes, Constable manvir, Liam Robinson and Jack leasi of the Taihape police.  
 
If what I have read is true the New Zealand police need to fire those officers. In the 
allegations of The corruption are quite serious it's something needs to be done about 
this.  
 
I've read the documentation and the story and it's 100% true al  four police officers 
involve from Taihape a lying in official Court documents and police disclosures so I 
would like information regarding this in an explanation to what the hel 's going on in 
Taihape.  
 
Response: TVNZ has not published any online information about corruption within the 
Taihape police so it is not clear what information you are requesting. In accordance 
with section 12(2) of the Act, please set our your request with due particularity so that 
we may assist you.  
 
We trust this information assists.  As you may know, if you are dissatisfied with this 
response section 28 of the Act provides you with the right to make a complaint to the 
Ombudsman in order to seek an investigation and review.
