INFORMATION REQUEST
On 20 May 2024 you asked for communications about the removal of the Deputy Mayor
Baldock in 2020. Here is our response to your questions:
Please supply all materials previously released under a LOGIMA request for
email and text communications between elected members in relation to the
matters of the requisition letters for the removal of the Deputy Mayor Baldock in
2020 and related topics. These were previously available via TCC Secure Upload
site.
A number of requests were received in June 2020 which meant we collated email
and text correspondence over the date range 1 May 2020 to 15 June 2020 for all
Councillors. The email and text correspondence for this date range is available for
download at the below link. The correspondence contained in these files is relating to
any of the following:
•
leadership,
•
deputy mayor,
•
letter of requisition,
•
chairperson and deputy chairperson positions,
•
remuneration, or
•
advice regarding appointment of deputy mayor

considered the public interest in the release of this information and do not consider
that it outweighs the need to withhold.
