A list of all grants and/or funding provided to Taranaki Whanui Limited (TWL) from January 1,

I kindly request that the compiled list include the fol owing information:
•
Name of the grant/fund
•
Type of grant/fund
•
Amount of grant/fund
•
Date/s of approval and disbursement of the grant/fund

Additionally, I request copies of the signed agreements for each grant/fund provided to TWL.
Regarding the formatting of the response, I would appreciate it if the compiled list could be

agreements, please combine them into one PDF, if possible, with each agreement numbered.
In the response letter, I would also like a document schedule outlining the details of each
agreement (name, date, and type). This wil provide clarity and guidance in understanding the
agreements.
Wellington City Council has
partly granted
your request for information.
Local Government has an important role to play in promoting the social, cultural, environmental,
and economic wel being of people and communities.
One way we contribute to this is funding for community organisations and businesses. Information
regarding Council funding is publicly available and can be found on our websit
e here. This
webpage provides the different types of funding available and past al ocations where applicable.
On investigation, Wellington City Council has made no payments to Taranaki Whānui Limited that
can be categorised as grants funding. This part of your request has been refused under section
17(g) of the Act because the requested information is not held.
However, in June 2022 we provided a payment to Taranaki Whānui Limited to support our
partnership as detailed in our Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement with Port
Nicholson Block Settlement Trust. This payment was made to Taranaki Whānui Limited at the
request of the Port Nicholson Block Settlement Trust. A copy of this MOU is publicly available and
can be foun
d here.
This payment detailed above totalled $100,000 (excluding GST).
