Request made under the Official Information Act 1982 
Thank you for your email of 11 May 2024 requesting the fol owing information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
This is a request for the post-construction Safe System audit report completed for the Petone 
to Melling cycle-way project.   The request includes the Project Managers responses and 
decisions (normally included within the report). 
This request for information specifical y includes the names of the Parties to the audit 
including, but not limited to the: 
client, 
project manager, 
audit team leader, 
lead designer and. 
road safety engineer. 
For the information requested on the Safe System audit report completed for the Petone Mel ing 
cycleway project, please find attached the Pre-Opening RSA for Petone to Mel ing.pdf. Please note 
that the document has yet to be finalised and wil  only be signed off once safety measurements are 
fully completed.  
Names and contact details of the WSP staff have been withheld under section 9(2)(a) of the Act to 
protect the privacy of natural persons.  
With respect to the information that has been withheld, I do not consider there are any other factors 
which would render it desirable, in the public interest, to make the information available. 
Under section 28 of the Act, you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to review my decision to
