Good Morning Mayor and Councillors, 
Thank you for feedback yesterday about PC 50 comms (particularly simplicity and on timing - sooner than later) and 
your comments on how the updates also assist you in the (constrained at this point in the process) way you are able 
to respond to the community on the plan change. 
This morning we have released the email update below direct to submitters and published similar wording in the 
“top banner” on our PC 50 page (here). 
One thing I didn’t make clear yesterday – when I was referring to extending the date on publishing the summary of 
submissions - I should have been more explicit that this was self-imposed (versus a statutory timeframe) and had 
been publicly indicated as an intended date (rather than a hard date). Nevertheless, the discussion remains sound – 
keeping the community informed (simply) along the way. 
Therefore if asked / if you want to push in your channels we are signalling to parties May.

Thank you for your submission on Plan Change 50. This email is to keep you updated on where we are in the 
plan change process. 
We received 256 submissions on PC50 and are now in the process of preparing our summary of submissions. 
This will include the written summary of submissions, and mapping of rezoning requests by submitters. 
As we are working our way through the complex issues raised, the summary of submissions will be released on 
the UHCC PC50 webpage by May for further submissions.  
As a submitter you will be informed by email when they are released.
