Thank you for your email of 7 May 2024.  Your specific request and our response are set out 
below. 
 
Under the OIA I would like to request the following information. 
 
Al  emails, texts and records of phone calls, if any between Mayor Wayne Brown and Central 
Auckland MP Chloe Swarbrick involving safety in Auckland.  
 
Details (time and date) of meetings, if any, between the Mayor and Chloe Swarbrick 
regarding safety in Auckland. 
 
This request covers the date range of October 15th 2023 through to May 7th 2024. 
 
We are unable to answer this request under section 17(e) of the Local Government Official 
Information and Meetings Act 1987, where the document alleged to contain the information 
requested does not exist. 
 
There have been no meetings, texts or correspondence on this subject in the timeframe 
above.  
 
Decisions relating to the information that is being released to you were made by Rose 
Leonard, Manager Governance Services. 
 
Should you believe Auckland Council has not responded appropriately to your request, you 
have the right by way of complaint, under section 27(3) of the LGOIMA, to apply to the 
Ombudsman to seek an investigation and review of the decision.
