INFORMATION REQUEST
On 15 April 2024 you asked for information about a proposed Rainbow Crossing. Here is our
response to your questions:
I kindly request any communications, meetings notes etc regarding a proposed
Rainbow Crossing or a 'grassroots' campaign in support of a crossing in
Tauranga including TCC, YouBeYou (Gordy Lockhart, Keegan Miller, Trish
Valois) and/or Tuskany (Sally Cooke).
We carried out a digital search for communications including Council and YouBeYou
(Gordy Lockhart, Keegan Miller and Trish Valois) and Sally Cooke using the search
term ‘Rainbow Crossing’. The time period was 15 April 2023 – 15 April 2024.
We attach a copy of the requested information.  Please note that we have redacted
the contact details of Gordy Lockhart, as well as the names and contact details of
three other people under section 7(2)(a) of LGOIMA1 withholding is necessary to
protect the privacy of natural persons including that of deceased natural persons.
We include a link to the petition as at 15 April 2024. This is referred to as Attachment
2 in the correspondence provided.
