Your request for official information, reference: HNZ00062549
Thank you for your email on 27 August 2024, asking Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora for
the following under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):
While I have been so patient in waiting for your response, I am however, dismayed that
you have not responded to part 2 of my request, dated 21 April 2024, regarding the
vaccines that were administered at work sites of employers involved in the 'Pilot'
program. This response is now 71 business days overdue. After some too-ing and fro-
ing between yourselves and the Ministry of Health, you previously advised me that you
would take ownership of my requests.
To familiarise yourself, This is part 2 of my request:
From: Carl Berryman
April 21, 2024
Dear Ministry of Health,
Based on the pilot program mentioned in the 10 Aug 2021 minutes (H202116597

workplace.
Would you kindly share the information on exactly which batches and the total number
of batches dispatched to each of these workplaces on this workplace pilot program?
Please include;

received?
2. What addresses and to whom were these batches sent to?

4. What health companies / health providers were used to carry out vaccinations in
each workplace of businesses involved in the Pilot program?
5. What locations throughout New Zealand were these vaccines given to staff /
employees or any other person associated with the companies involved in the Pilot
program? and what dates did these vaccinations occur?
6. What were the number of doses administered in the workplaces in New Zealand for
each batch (i.e. number of doses administered per manufacturer provided batch
identifier).
7. What was the number of doses for each individual workplace site?
8. What financial incentives were given to the businesses where vaccinations were
carried out in those businesses workplace sites?

HNZ00049846). Copies of these responses are provided again as
Appendix One.
Our previous responses have summarised the complexities in providing fulsome responses to
these questions. However, after reviewing your questions again, we can confirm on behalf of
the Ministry of Health that the vaccination programme involved Fonterra, Mainfreight,
Woolworths NZ, Foodstuffs North Island and Foodstuffs South Island corporate teams at that
time. We can also confirm that there were no financial incentives or penalties implemented.
