O cial information request for full minutes of Callaghan Innovation’s Board
I refer to your o cial information request dated 28 March 2024 for the fol owing information:
May I kindly request Cal aghan Innovation's ful board meeting minutes from 1st Jan 2023 to 1st Nov 2023. May I also
request al communication between the Cal aghan Innovation CEO and the 2023 Labour Minister Dr Ayesha Verral
between 1 Jan 2023 and 1 Nov 2023.
The OIA requires that we advise you of our decision on your request no later than 20 working days after the day we
received your request. Unfortunately, it wil not be possible to meet that time limit and we are therefore writing to
notify you of an extension of the time to make our decision, to 14 May 2024.
This extension is necessary because consultations with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment are
necessary to make a decision on your request, such that a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the
original time limit.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision. Information about how to
make a complaint is available at
.ombudsman.parliament.nz or freephone 0800 802 602.
