Request for Information 
 
I refer to your email dated 20 March 2024 requesting information on the latest 
updates regarding the deployment progress of the National Ticketing Solution (NTS), 
as well as any costs incurred up to the present date.  
 
The NTS is on track for delivery, with implementation to start in Canterbury in late 
2024 as per the latest update by the NTS Programme

Requests relating to the costs of the NTS programme are best directed to the New 
Zealand Transport Agency who are responsible for its delivery. 
 
You  will  be  aware that  if  you  are  not  satisfied  with  this  response, you  can refer  this 
matter to the Office of the Ombudsman under s27(3) of the LGOIMA Act 1987.
