Thank you for your email
of 20 March 2024 requesting the following information under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act):
Please supply an extract of data changed in the National Speed Limit Register as part of the
Christchurch City Council interim speed management plan that occured on, or around,
11/10/2023.
The extract of data requested for can be found via the National Speed Limit Register (NSLR) section
of NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA’s) Open Data Portal following the link:
https://opendata-nzta.opendata.arcgis.com/search , using ‘
NSLR’ as the search query.
As seen here, the querant wil have
the option of:
(i) downloading the entire NSLR
dataset, or,
(i ) viewing the online table
(available via the table icon on the
right-hand side of the page).
By following either method, you wil be able to find certified speed limits pertaining to Christchurch City
Council’s interim speed management plan by filtering for ‘Director Approval – Christchurch City
Council interim speed management plan’ under ‘Legal Reference’.
