Thank you for your request for official information which we received on 1 March. You asked 
us -  The house is ready and is waiting on CCC to be issued since November 2023. 
Can you advise what is reason for the wait and when wil  it be issued. 
 
Our building consents staff have confirmed that as of 5 March 2024,  the code compliance 
certificate (CCC) for 12 Bugle St has been issued successfully.  
 
Our records show that the council’s process in assessing the CCC application was done in 
timely manner within the statutory clock prescribed by s.93 of the Building Act. 
 
Our standard procedure requires certain compliance documentation to be provided to 
complete the certification process efficiently. Unfortunately there were delays in receiving the 
necessary documentation from the applicant’s end. This significantly extended a suspension 
time for the application until 1 March 2024, when the applicant submitted the last piece of 
requested documentation.  
 
We advise you to contact the company who applied for and obtained the CCC for more 
information.
