Thank you for your request to Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities, dated 28 February 2024, under
the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act):
1. Al correspondence - including any text messages to and from RDC mayor and CEO -
between Kainga Ora, Ruapehu District Council and Ngati Rangi regarding the cancellation of
the Teitei Drive mixed social housing development in Ohakune (between October 2023 and
present).
2. Al correspondence between Kainga Ora and Housing Minister Chris Bishop regarding the
cancellation of the Teitei Drive mixed social housing development in Ohakune (between
November 2023 and present).
3. A copy of the "cost assessment" on the latest masterplan provided by the "independent
quantity surveyor" mentioned in the Q+A accompanying the February 29 announcement of the
Teitei Drive cancellation.
4. Copies of correspondence (from October 1, 2023 to present) between Kainga Ora and
Ruapehu District Council which mention or discuss the possibility of a judicial review and/or
injunction being taken over the Teitei Drive social housing proposal.
I wil address each part of your request in turn:

between Kāinga Ora, Ruapehu District Council and Ngati Rangi regarding the cancellation
of the Teitei Drive mixed social housing development in Ohakune (between October 2023
and present).
