Official Information Act request relating to the amount claimed by Prime Minister for 
Accommodation Services for Members and Travel Services for Family Members 
 
Thank you for your request made under the Official Information Act (the Act), received on 27 
February 2024. You requested: 
 
I am writing to query the total amount, if any, that Prime Minister Luxon has claimed in 
line with clause 17 of 'Members of Parliament (Accommodation Services for Members and 
Travel Services for Family Members) Determination 2023' since 27/11/23. 
 
 
I believe the information you have requested is more closely connected with the functions of 
the Department of Internal Affairs. Accordingly, I have decided to transfer your request to the 
Department of Internal Affairs under section 14(b)(ii) of the Act. 
 
 
The Department of Internal Affairs has the usual timeframes under the Act from receipt of this 
transfer to make a decision on your request.
