Thank you for your request under the  Official Information Act  1982 (the Act) to the Ministry of 
Health - Manat0 Hauora (the Ministry) on 26 February 2024 for information regarding the recent 
request  for nominations for the Mental Health  Review Tribunal. Each part of your request is 
copied and  responded to below: 
I noted,  you have recently call for nomination for your member role.

May I ask how you called for public nomination  and on what platform you have call for 
public nominations  e.g. govt.jobs website. 
The advertisement was listed on  a number of platforms including the Ministry's intranet,  Ministry 
of Health careers website,  NZ Govt Jobs website,  RANZCP Job  Hub (for psychiatrists),  the NZ 
Law Society (for lawyers), Seek and Linkedln. 
Also,  how many applications you have received from the public and how many you have 
received from other nominating  agencies such as TPK or Ministry of women etc for each 
of your role, 
We received a total of 59 applications. This  included 30 applications  for the community member 
role,  21  for the lawyer member role, and 8 for the psychiatrist member role. 
Please note,  we did not approach other government agencies for nominees as we advertised 
the positions  publicly. 
I understand you have call for both community member  role and none- community 
member role. 
Yes,  I can confirm we advertised for community member roles, psychiatrist member roles and 
lawyer member roles.
