Thank you for your email on 13 February 2024, asking Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora for 
the following under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):  
Please provide date and site of manufacture of final dose from of all batches of Covid 
19 vaccine imported into New Zealand. 
Response 
I apologise for the delay in providing our response which was missed due to an administrative 
error.  The time taken is not what we aspire to and we are working hard to do better. 
The information you requested is not held in a manner that is readily available. To do that, we 
would require to manually review every Certificate of Analysis for al  batches that were 
delivered to New Zealand to extract the manufacturer details. As such, we are refusing this 
part of your request as it would require substantial collation and research to extract the data 
requested. This decision has been made under section 18(f) of the Act.   
In making this decision, we have considered extending the timeframe to respond, or charging, 
as allowed under the Act. However, neither of these options have been offered as we have 
determined  that  providing  this  information  would  unreasonably  interfere  with  the  everyday 
functions of the teams involved. 
Please note that COVID-19 vaccines administered in New Zealand are only those that have 
been manufactured by sites approved by Medsafe. You can search for approved manufacturers 
using Medsafe product search tool, available at www.medsafe.govt.nz/regulatory/dbsearch.asp.
