following under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act):  
 
Please provide the following for the proposed Waitakere Hospital intensive care unit. 
 
1. An estimated date of completion for the unit construction 
2. An estimated date of full operation of the unit (i.e. able to admit patients to ful  capacity) 
 
Response 
 
We are expecting to complete construction of the Waitakere Hospital ICU in February 2026, 
and expect full operation of the unit (i.e. able to admit patients to full capacity) by April 2026.
