Official information request regarding professional staff manager trainings
We refer to your official information request dated 24 January 2024:
“For the period from January 2019 through to December 2022, can you provide ful details of al
training provided to professional staff managers relating to:
1. Hiring diverse staff
2. Working with diverse staff
All details should include dates of training, title of training, description of training, number of
attendees, follow up, metrics etc. Basically anything that can be asked for relating to this
training.”
The information you have requested regarding hiring and working with diverse staff is
attached.
Please note that the University was not able to continue its usual staff training programme
from March 2020 until late 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
From January 2019 until September 2021, the University did not offer any structured
diversity training to professional staff. Instead, the staff training programme focused on
developing interpersonal and intrapersonal skills such as working together, courageous
conversations, mental fitness, and coaching conversations.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of the decisions
