‘all material provided as a cabinet update covering the RAL liquidation / receivership / 
concession process since 1 July 2023.’ 
 
Please note that Cabinet processes associated with Ruapehu Alpine Lift matters to date 
have been led the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) and they are 
best placed to hold requested information. In this respect MBIE is the appropriate agency to 
respond to this request 
 
As such I am transferring your request in full under section 14 of the Of icial Information Act 
1982, to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment as the information to which it 
relates is more closely connected with that Department’s functions.
